About Susanto and Partners

Susanto and Partners ("SnP") is a boutique law firm, established by Mr. Atik Susanto, a former partner in a leading law firm in Jakarta. SnP was originally established in 2009 starting from one partner and three senior associates which grew into a full house of more than 10 associate lawyers. As a new firm, at that time we managed to prove that we could deliver an excellent legal service to our client and formed a solid team.

For example, our transaction with respect to the take over and financing of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama is awarded by International Financial Law Review (IFLR) as the "Asian M&A Deal of the Year", by International Financing Review Asia (IFR Asia) as the "Indonesian Capital Markets Deal of the Year" and by Finance Asia as the "Best Indonesia Deal". In 2011, SnP decided to merge with Oentoeng Suria and Partners (formerly associated with Black Dawson, and currently associated with Ashurst) ("OSP") and brought the whole house together. During the term with OSP, our lawyers have been exposed with international practice and experiences and connection with international networks. Our team also won other awards and accolades for the hard work and excellent services.

In 2018, we decided to split from OSP and resurrected SnP. We are starting small but this will not exonerate years of experience and practice that we have obtained through out these years. We believe that it is better to have a small-highly-skilled team so that we can focus to deliver excellent services to the client as well as good communication and connection to the client. SnP lawyers are highly dedicated in serving our client’s needs and we have carefully selected and recruited the team as well as rigorously train them to ensure that they can consistently meet our standards of excellence in client service, legal knowledge, and business acumen.
